SA-INT Survey Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Primary Objective:

To assist and support the MSA Executive Search process through the identification, development, and maintenance of an up to date national network of key professionals in the healthcare field, as well as the execution of a research plan for each assigned search that screens candidates matching the required specification for timely referral to Consultant.

Major Areas of Accountability:

Database Management:

  • Maintain and improve the cash compensation database
  • Ensure data integrity within the compensation database.
  • Identify and implement improvements to templates, analytical tools, database design, and the process associated with database management
  • Identify and implement opportunities to expand data collection and uses of data within the database.
  • Responsible for communicating updates to database to all end-users, and provide training to new Consultants and/or education on updates.

Survey Management and Analysis:

  • Coordinate the production of all standard and custom compensation surveys with primary focus on survey analysis and publication, to include three to four annual surveys and 10 to 15 custom surveys.
  • Work with consultants to develop and execute survey plans for current and prospective surveys including:
    • Product design and content development
    • Data needs
    • Communication to client organizations
    • Schedule and timeline
    • Quality assurance measures
    • Distribution plans
  • Ensure Integrated Healthcare Strategies is utilizing the most effective survey technology and processes.
  • Ensure successful survey participation rates

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with current and target survey participants.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with data services managers from other Integrated Healthcare Strategies Practices.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with internal Consultants to assist in providing information necessary to assist in consulting projects.
  •  Assist in developing external marketing and communication materials targeting participation in surveys and sharing of knowledge gathering information

Consulting Support:

  • Analyze compensation data to assist in determining competitive pay levels, market trends, etc. as assigned.
  • Assist with market research for the Executive Search Practice.
  • Research and order compensation survey sources to maintain survey library.

Integrated Healthcare Strategies Survey Support:

  • Provide analysis and technical support in the design and production of multiple opinion surveys, to include employee, leadership and physician surveys, HR assessments and other customized surveys as requested by clients and internal Consultants.
  • Follow detailed procedures and checklists, to ensure that each project is designed, implemented and completed in a manner that optimizes the value to the client, most efficiently uses internal resources, and maximizes the statistical integrity of the survey product.
  • Assist in quality review of other Survey Analysts work to ensure accuracy and statistical integrity.

Qualification Guidelines:
Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Also prefer post-secondary training in statistics, economics, mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines.

Experience:

Minimum of one-year solid experience in a business setting, including exposure to Excel, Access, database and project management, and coordinating multiple priorities.

Critical Requirements:

Responsible, hard working individual with a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently as well as to prioritize and meet deadlines. Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word at the intermediate level preferred. Proven ability to communicate complex and technical issues to co-workers and client personnel at varied levels of understanding. Proven ability to handle confidential materials.
