Executive Compensation Education

Integrated Healthcare Strategies helps boards and their committees make well-informed decisions about executive compensation, keep programs in compliance with evolving regulations and deal effectively with public relations issues related to executive compensation. We are available to meet annually or as needed, either on-site or virtually, with the board to discuss trends and issues relating to executive compensation, as well as recent regulatory changes affecting compensation and benefit programs in the not-for-profit health care industry.

A board education session can cover a number of topics:

  • Best practices in governing executive compensation (including steps necessary to establish a rebuttable presumption of reasonableness)
  • Organizations’ response to the economic downturn
  • New regulatory developments and reporting requirements
  • New Form 990
  • Rules on deferred compensation
  • Proposed regulations regarding Sections 125 and 457(f)

We customize the education session based on the issues that are pertinent to the organization. We routinely conduct topical surveys to ensure we are providing the most up-to-date information. We combine legal resources and the expertise of our five different practices and specialties to provide organizations with applicable knowledge pertinent to their organization and compensation programs.
